Each Scanfil unit has a certified, ISO 14001 -compliant environmental management system.
The aim of the system is the economical use of raw materials and energy and the minimisation of emissions. The indicators used include energy consumption, recovery of raw materials and the recyclability of waste. We have updated our environmental considerations and re-evaluated the risks in relation to changes in our operations, official requirements and customers' demands. Recyclability of waste has been improved in all units of the Group.
Both local and Group management monitors the development of these indicators and the achievement of the targets set through regular reviews.
